Cool Things I Did in 2024

1. Graduated ED in Real Estate. Finally leveled up and feeling accomplished.

2. Went on 52 hikes (sometimes twice a week!) and summited Mount Kinabalu, Gunung Besar Hantu, Gunung Gap & Gus, Gunung Datuk, Gunung Alai, Gunung Angsi, Bukit Kutu, and so many more.

3. Adopted Luna and Leo, my new fur babies who’ve completely stolen my heart and brought so much joy into our home.

4. Picked up my pool cue again and realized I’ve still got it!

5. Moved to a new office. A fresh space with new energy always feels amazing.

6. Started camping with my loved ones. There’s nothing like stars, campfires, and quality time in nature.

7. Changed Maher to a better school, and seeing him happy, thriving, and enjoying himself has been such a rewarding decision.

8. Broke through the hardest season at work. This one deserves its own spotlight. It was my toughest year in real estate, but I pushed through and came out stronger, and I couldn’t be prouder of that.

What a year it has been. The realization that "what I didn’t change, I therefore chose" hit me hard this year.

I was stuck in a monotonous cycle of work, kids, and family. Somewhere along the way, I forgot who I was outside of those roles. I was pouring from an empty cup without even realizing it.

I’m so glad I started working on myself again, doing more of what makes me happy and sticking with it. It’s not always easy to balance everything, but I can feel I’m more appreciative of life now. Life still throws its curveballs, like it always does, but Alhamdulillah, I’m managing it better.

For 2025, I pray my husband and I will hear good news and that he gets all the healing he needs. I hope to spend more quality time with my kids, diversify my investments, and make smart financial moves.

I want to challenge myself, start something new, and grow in meaningful ways. And most of all, I want to answer the call of the wild and keep exploring.

How about you? I hope whatever you do, you do more of what makes you happy too. And amidst all the chaos, I hope you find moments to slow down and enjoy the little things.

Here’s to making 2025 amazing for all of us!
